Michelle trained at Stevens & Bolton and qualified into the employment department in 2012.
Michelle advises on all aspects of employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters. Michelle’s non-contentious experience includes drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, service agreements and consultancy agreements as well as reviewing and drafting employment policies, procedures and handbooks.
Michelle advises employers on a number of HR issues including redundancy processes, performance management and sickness absence, managing grievances and disciplinary issues in the workplace.
Michelle has also advised on a wide range of Employment Tribunal claims, including claims in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, involving issues of unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination.
Michelle also advises on the employment aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals.
