    We support and advise businesses on all aspects of TUPE in numerous contexts including:

    • business mergers and acquisitions
    • outsourcing agreements and other commercial transactions
    • restructuring and redundancies arising from a business transfer (including the preparation and negotiation of settlement agreements)
    • business distress, administration and insolvency situations
    • commercial real estate transactions

    This area of law can be complex and it demands commercial solutions and practical advice. Our experience includes:

    • conducting due diligence and advising on the HR and employee provisions of business purchase agreements
    • drafting and negotiating employment protections in outsourcing agreements and tender documentation
    • supporting businesses in meeting consultation obligations (including assisting with internal communications and other practical support)
    • advising on post-transfer integration and harmonisation issues and redundancies
