Stevens & Bolton advises Spine Energy Technology on $3 million seed funding round

UK law firm Stevens & Bolton has advised Spine Energy Technology, a UK-based B2B software company developing a technology platform for renewable energy asset managers, on its successful $3 million seed fundraising round. The investment will support the company's continued product development, expansion of its UK operations and future international growth ambitions.

The fundraising was co-led by two UK-based family offices, with additional participation from existing investors. The new investment will help Spine accelerate product development, expand its engineering capabilities and support further customer growth as it builds towards international deployment of its platform.

Peter Bance, founder and CEO of Spine Energy Technology, commented: "This fundraising marks an important milestone for Spine as we continue to scale our business and enhance our technology offering. Krishna, Helen and the wider Stevens & Bolton team provided commercially focused, pragmatic advice throughout the process and were a pleasure to work with."

Krishna Patel, corporate partner at Stevens & Bolton, said: "We are delighted to have supported Peter and the Spine team on this significant investment round. Spine has established itself as a leading innovator in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, and we look forward to seeing the business build on this momentum and continue its growth following this fundraising."

The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner Krishna Patel and associate Helen Ryan.
