Deal news: advising Boundary Real Estate Partners on the real estate aspects of a mixed portfolio acquisition of multi-let industrial estates and offices

Stevens & Bolton, led by Alex Watt and Jo Purnell, has advised Boundary Real Estate Partners on the real estate aspects of a mixed portfolio acquisition of multi-let industrial estates and offices, a Marina and future development land to the north of Leicester from Raynsway Properties. The acquisition was part-funded by DRC Savills Investment Management with the Stevens & Bolton team also advising on the property matters within the funder’s security documentation.

Charlie Walker from Boundary Real Estate Partners commented “The Raynsway portfolio is a unique opportunity for Boundary. We are excited to bring forward our development and active management plans for the estate. We are delighted to have secured the portfolio off market and our thanks go to Stevens & Bolton, the rest of our advisory team as well as Alantra in completing what was a complex transaction.”

Alex Watt commented "It was fantastic to work again with Boundary Real Estate Partners on their latest acquisition and to work closely with Steven Cowins and his team at GT Law, and with Leiza Bladd-Symms and Sandrinne Antony at LCN Legal. This was a challenging transaction to get over the line and we’re thrilled to have been able to work closely with the team at Boundary and the other advisers to close such an important acquisition."

Alex Watt and Jo Purnell were also supported by Ian Craig, Alice Donzelot, James Thomas, Valerie Fogleman and Sam Burnage from the commercial real estate team.
