Stevens & Bolton LLP has advised Unum Aircraft Seating Limited on its fundraising of £800,000 led by Chris Brady and a consortium of angel investors.
Unum’s mission is to design and manufacture high quality premium business class passenger airline seats and the team will be led by Chris, who built Acro Aircraft Seating into a successful design and manufacturing business supplying passenger seats for airlines and, in 2017, sold the business to a Chinese seating manufacturer Zhejiang Science and Technology Investment Company for £55 million.
Keith Syson, said “Despite the current pandemic it is great to see new businesses starting and, having worked with Chris since BGF invested in Acro it was great to work with him again on this exciting new investment.”
Chris Brady commented, “It’s always a delight to work with Keith, Jamie, Nassar and the team. They’ve done their part to make Unum a success, now we’ve got to do ours!”
