Lorna Sleave and Lucinda Russell-Jones explore the subject of jurisdiction (namely which court has the power to determine a dispute) by considering the basics of drafting a good jurisdiction clause, highlighting the importance of such clauses in contracts, and looking at the factors to bear in mind when considering which jurisdiction to choose.
In this video we also provide a brief introduction to the resolution of disputes referred to arbitration and highlight the main differences between litigation and arbitration.
