Stevens & Bolton sponsors Trusts in Litigation 2026

Stevens & Bolton is proud to sponsor the Trusts in Litigation Conference 2026, taking place from 18–20 March at the Pestana Palace in Lisbon. Hosted by Informa Connect and ConTrA, the conference is widely recognised as one of the leading global forums for contentious trust and estate practitioners, bringing together experts from across the private wealth disputes community to explore the latest legal developments and emerging issues shaping the sector.

Stevens & Bolton’s Private Wealth Disputes team is widely regarded for its expertise in high‑value, technically complex and multi‑jurisdictional litigation. Our Head of Private Wealth Disputes, James Lister, will attend in his capacity as a member of the ConTrA Committee, reflecting his long‑standing involvement in the sector and the team’s deep engagement with the industry’s development. He will be joined by Jack Bailey (Partner), Hayley Robinson (Senior Associate) and Christopher Hatton (Senior Associate), showcasing the strength and breadth of our contentious private wealth offering.

This year’s conference will address many of the sophisticated challenges our team advises on, including media management in trust disputes, dispute resolution strategy, undue influence and ethical challenges, limitation and laches, cross‑border estate enforcement, pre‑death dispositions, 1975 Act claims, and fiduciary duties and conflicts of interest. It also includes broader sessions on family dynamics, wellbeing, and career development, and designing the law firm of the future. These themes highlight the increasingly sophisticated landscape in which practitioners operate and align closely with the work our team undertakes for high‑net‑worth individuals, trustees, beneficiaries, and professional advisers.

Now in its ninth year, Trusts in Litigation is recognised as a standout conference for trust litigators, offering high‑quality content, collaborative debate, and exceptional networking with professionals from across the trust and private client litigation landscape. We are proud to support an event that mirrors our commitment to technical excellence, client service, and forward‑looking practice in the contentious private wealth sector.

If you are attending and would like to arrange a meeting with our team, please do get in touch.
