Stevens & Bolton has advised the shareholders of The Hill Company Group, a family-run document storage, scanning and shredding business, on its successful sale to HW Coates, a leading chemical warehousing and transport company.
The transaction represents a significant milestone for The Hill Company Group. The acquisition enables HW Coates to expand its service offering, while allowing the Hill family to retain and further develop a separate crate hire business following a pre-completion reorganisation.
The transaction was delivered to a demanding timetable and involved a number of complex workstreams, including a pre-completion reorganisation and significant property-related matters.
The Stevens & Bolton team was led by corporate partner Nick Atkins and supported by managing associate Francesca Messina, and associates Helen Ryan and Himal Bulathsinhala. The corporate team worked closely with colleagues across the firm's specialist teams to provide a fully integrated service throughout the transaction.
