The advice we provide is across a range of taxes from transaction taxes (such as VAT and stamp duty land tax) to wider issues concerning direct tax issues and capital allowances. VAT issues on property transactions and construction can be a technically complex area - we aim to assist clients to plot a course through the rules whilst all the time keeping in mind our client’s commercial objectives.
The team has experience of acting for developers, industrial/commercial and retail occupiers and property investors not only on third party transactions but also in relation to ongoing portfolio management and group reorganisations.
